Description

This film spool is designed as a modern alternative for the classic Barnack Leicas. It replaces the original metal spool and offers a key advantage: it does not need to be removed from the camera to load film. The film is directly grasped into the spool inside the body. This saves time and reduces the risk of dropping the spool.

Important note: Even when using this quickload spool, the film start must be cut narrow to about 10 cm length (known as the ABLON cut). Film that is not cut this way can damage the camera’s cloth shutter. Suitable templates are also available in our shop.
